In October 2015 Perspective Facilities undertook the PAT Testing, Fire Extinguisher servicing and Emergency Light Testing for the Fire Brigade Union.
The FBU aims to provide a leading, independent voice for firefighters that helps improves fire and rescue services. With one Central Head Office and over 14 regional offices, Perspective provided a complete managed service for PAT Testing, Fire Extinguisher Servicing & Emergency Light Testing. From contract approval, Perspective made contact with each regional office to book a suitable time and date to conduct the works, liaising with each region we ensured that there would be minimal disruption whilst the works were taking place.
With regional offices across the UK and Ireland, we utilised our in house team to visit all the sites across the country. Whilst onsite at each location our engineers conducted a Premises Health Check, this identified what was installed at the building, its condition and any recommendations. Our premises health check detailed the condition of emergency lighting, fire alarm, security system, extinguishers, heating and if a Fire Risk assessment had been recently conducted. This information was then presented in individual reports which allowed the FBU to act upon any recommendations found.
